Garden Manager

Laura is our newest garden wizard. She came to Nantucket in March 2010 having just graduated from the University of Maine with a B.S in Landscape Horticulture/Design and a minor in Horticultural Therapy.

Laura grew up in Gilroy, California, and started working at the local nursery when she was 13 years old. She has been cultivating her passion for plants and landscaping ever since.

From nurseries to upscale residential landscape companies, Laura brings with her an enormous wealth of information, know how, and a determination to do it right! When not in the gardens, Laura shares her love of children working with those in need, counseling at camp and even babysitting. Laura is a delightful addition to our Ernst Land Design team.
